Tax Incentive Program - Slaughter Vehicle End of Life
Since a few years ago that the state offers a discount vehicle tax (ISV) of a new vehicle when the owner handed one old car, with more than 10 years for slaughter. This discount is called the "Tax Incentive Program to Abate Vehicle End of Life."
At present this discount is € 1000 for vehicles with more than 10 years, and € 1250 for vehicles with more than 15 years.
The car will have to be acquired compulsorily in the name of the owner of the vehicle delivered for slaughter.
The vehicle delivered for slaughter must meet a set of conditions so that the incentive is possible:
- Being a passenger car with more than 10 years of registration
- Be registered on behalf of the buyer for at least 6 months.
- Be free of any charge or charges (the vehicle can not be involved in any legal process, or something which makes the slaughter)
- Circular by his own means, or if you no longer move, you must have all its essential components.
The car to beat may be delivered in any of the authorized centers, for example, the center of the Network VALORCAR.
After delivery of the car, and after checking all the conditions, the center give you a Certificate of Destruction which will provide the dealer where you buy your new vehicle. This certificate must then be sent together with a few more documents to the Directorate General of Customs and Excise Excise (Customs Directorate).
The documents to be attached to the Certificate of Destruction are the following:
- Application for grant of Incentive (download)
- Photocopy of documents of the vehicle slaughtered (Booklet and title land registration)
- Photocopy of Identity of Owner
- Photocopy of Income Tax Card Owner
- Certificate attesting that the vehicle has not destroyed any fees or charges (issued by the Registrar of Motor)
- Certificate that the owner has no social security debts
- Pro forma invoice on the new vehicle (operator of the vehicle purchased)
- Attorney (if not the owner to proceed to the proceedings)
- Social Pact (if a company)
There are several brands of cars that will help make this whole process, so we only need to provide the documents, the actual delivery of the vehicle is made by the dealer where you purchase your new vehicle.
